FIELD: production of dyed crystals of high-melting oxides based on zirconium dioxide for obtaining jewelry stones. SUBSTANCE: method for production of dyed crystals of high-melting oxides provides for use of mixture with the following qualitative and quantitative composition, mass.%: yttrium oxide, 20-29; gadolinium oxide 0.5-3.0; cobalt oxide 1.5-3.5; praseodymium oxide 10-15; the balance, zirconium dioxide. Melt is held for 5-20 min. Oriented crystallization is carried out in cold container at the rate of 2-6 mm/h. Crystals are cooled from the crystallization temperature at the rate of 12-20 C/min down to 1450-1550 C and held at this temperature for 0.5-2 h. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 cl, 1 tbl
