FIELD: rubber industry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: butadiene polymerization is carried out in medium of organic solvent in the presence of catalyst consisting of cobalt and organoaluminium compounds and activating addition - saturated carboxylic acid with water combination at their mole ratio = 1:(0.2-8.5). Mole ratio addition : aluminium = 1:(0.2-0.5). Process is carried out at 20-50 C for 1-4 hr. Method is used in synthetic rubber production. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis. 1 tbl
