FIELD: strengthening ice cover. SUBSTANCE: strengthening ice cover is carried out by columns of ice blocks placed on each other. The blocks are formed of a package of vertically installed ice slabs and horizontal ice slab cut out of ice cover after its installation on ice cover and freezing together the slabs and to ice cover. The first block is immersed in lane formed after cutting off horizontal slab. Subsequent block is formed in the lane after its covering with ice. Each block is immersed to the depth when its upper butt is set at the level of lower surface of ice cover. EFFECT: strengthening ice cover. 9 dwg
