FIELD: recording particles from accelerators and radioactive sources. SUBSTANCE: scintillator has silver halides in following proportion ( mass percent): silver chloride - 22.0-27.0; silver bromide - 77.99-72.50; silver iodide - 0.01-0.50. Scintillator is nonhydroscopic, inorganic crystalline device with resolution time not worse than 20 ns and light output of 40-50% relative to that of stilbene.
