FIELD: stationary marine structures working under ice conditions. SUBSTANCE: device consists of protective guard 1 embracing column 2 on which superstructure 3 located above water rests. Protective guard 1 is made in form of hermetic truncated hollow cone directed downward. Cone has constant buoyancy. It is movable along column 2 when level of water changes. To avoid upward motion of guard 1 along column 2 under action of ice, extensible adjustable stops 5 are secured on under side of superstructure 3. Drift ice rests against conical surface of guard 1 and gets broken. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 1 dwg
