FIELD: mining machinery. SUBSTANCE: machine used for mining minerals has auger provided with several cutting drums fastened as cantilevers on additional shafts installed inside body of trajectory former reduction unit built-in between shaft and auger. Reduction unit has additional shaft gears mounted on other end and gear wheel engaged with them and secured on additional intermediate shaft passing through hollow auger shaft installed inside body of turning reducer arm and drive reducer connected to it. Drive of cutting drums and auger is effected through known kinematic links using sun and pinion gears of epicyclic mechanism for automatic correlation of rotation frequency of drums and auger depending on physical and mechanical properties of rock being crushed. Forwarding of machine towards cutting face can be effected from auger shaft drive transmission in proportional relation to auger frequency of rotation. Machine can be used as detector of coal-rock contact boundary in system for automatic control of machine as to power and hypsometry of seam. EFFECT: high efficiency. 2 cl, 4 dwg
