FIELD: mining machines. SUBSTANCE: design of differential worm-conveyer member for breaking includes worm-conveyer dram shell, spirals and casing of trajectory reducer-former rigidly interconnected and being the casing of breaking member, that is used as carrier, as well as cutting drums provided with tools kinematically used as satellites of the differential gear of the breaking member. Casing of the breaking member (carrier) has its own kinematic drive system comprising transmission gears, the drive itself and shafts. Cutting drums are driven by kinematic system containing toothed wheel, gears, the drive itself and shafts. Both drives and transmission gears are installed in drive casing. Necessary parameters of the member modes of operation are obtained by selection of relation between vectors of casing (carrier) angular frequencies and cutting drums (satellites) of the breaking member.
