FIELD: shipbuilding; determination of parameters of squat of submersible object at cross-section of its hull close to circular in surface position in case of motions. SUBSTANCE: method consists in measuring average (in time) parameters of squat and converting them into electric signals; squat includes angles of trim and list and draft; besides that, average amplitudes of angles of trim and list and draft are additionally measured and are converted into electric signals. Then average deviations of these parameters are determined by each pair of signals corresponding to average (in time) parameters of squat and its amplitude; then relationships of transverse and longitudinal restoring moments and buoyancy of object are also determined by signals of average (in time) parameters of squat, each in first approximation. Then respective parameter of static squat of object is found by each of these relationships within average deviations determined as described above in first approximation under conditions of equality of work of transverse and longitudinal restoring moments and buoyancy forces of object, after which similar dependences of transverse and longitudinal restoring moments and buoyancy of object are determined in second approximation by static parameters of first approximation. The parameters of static squat of object are found in second approximation on basis of above-mentioned dependences within the same limits of average deviations of their arguments on the condition of equality of above mentioned work. Such iterating process is performed by each of squat parameter till discrepancy of static parameter does not exceed preset magnitudes for two successive approximations.
