FIELD: rhenium metallurgy; applicable in rhenium recovery from carbon-containing liquid raw materials such as metal bearing oils and natural bitumens and their heavy residues. SUBSTANCE: method for recovery of rhenium from liquid carbon- containing raw materials is conducted by their concentration and deasphalting, mixing of obtained asphalt-resinous concentrate with additives of oxidizer and soda, with oxidizer-soda-concentrate ratio of (0.5-0.3): (0.1-0.4):1 and heat treatment of obtained product at temperature of 500-900 C. Leaching of rhenium from bottoms and processing of obtained solution are carried out by the known hydrometallurgical methods. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
