SUBSTANCE: method comes to delivering fresh charge into above-piston space of cylinder, compressing fresh charge with simultaneously passing it into combustion chamber, disconnecting combustion chamber from above-piston space, igniting fuel-air mixture, connecting combustion chamber to above-piston space, passing gases from combustion chamber into above-piston space. Connection of combustion chamber to above-piston space is effected not earlier than after turning of crankshaft through angle of 80 degrees from position occupied at moment of disconnection of combustion chamber.
