FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: voltage regulator has three-phase booster transformer, invertor with control system, and rectifier with control system. Converters are built around fully controlled diodes. Invertor output voltage and rectifier input voltage are regulated through advance angles α and b, respectively, relative to supply voltage in the course of on-load voltage regulation. Such control is effected by applying first and second control signals to rectifier and invertor, respectively. Control signals are shaped from one differential signal obtained as result of comparison of feedback and master signals. EFFECT: reduced reactive power requirement and installed capacity of power circuit components. 2 dwg
