FIELD: fixing diamond blades of microsurgical scalpels on holders. SUBSTANCE: method consists in application of notches on inactive part of diamond blades in the direction not coinciding with the direction of cleavage plane; installation of the diamond blade preliminarily chucked in mechanical holder in mandrel seat; positioning of diamond blade, fastening it by binding agent; preliminary working of diamond surface is accomplished by application of notches it in the direction not coinciding with the direction of cleavage plane (III) on diamond; the notch width is within 0.08 to 0.15 mm, depth, within 0.05 to 0.1 mm. Installation of the blade in seat and positioning are accomplished with preliminary fastening of blade in mechanical holder. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 5 cl, 9 dwg, 3 tbl
