FIELD: flocculation, sedimentation, sintering and coagulation of ingredients dissolved suspended or emulsified in liquid or microorganisms from this liquid under action of ultrasound. SUBSTANCE: liquid containing the ingredients to be separated are subjected to action of supersonic waves which form field of standing waves. Liquid to be treated is passed through one or several fields of standing waves at right angle relative to direction of propagation of ultrasound. Frequency of ultrasound exceeds limiting frequency.
