FIELD: oil producing industry. SUBSTANCE: on the basis of geophysical investigations and well logging deformed structure blocks and their boundaries are determined, and active tectonically deformed zones and their boundaries are found. Wells are drilled beyond the active tectonically deformed zones. Producing wells are drilled inside deformed blocks. Injection wells are located near the boundaries of the blocks. The oil deposit is developed successively by blocks beginning from the blocks with high changes in geoenergetic potentials. Geoenergetic potential is determined for each block at each stage of oil deposit development. Geoenergetic potential is indicative of the state of depletion of oil reserves. Development of the oil field is regulated and producing formation is stimulated. EFFECT: increased current and ultimate oil recovery, cut down costs of oil production and reduced capital investments, and simultaneous prevention of contamination of earth bowels and environment. 4 dwg
