FIELD: hydraulics and pneumatics. SUBSTANCE: working section of a seal consists of two members. The outer surface of the members form outer cylindrical surface of the seal. One of the members is made up as a pipe. The second member is provided with the hollow for the seal. The inner surface of the second member is bounded with the plane or section of the cylinder, the position of which is chosen to bring the center of gravity of the working section in coincidence with its axis of rotation. The hollow in the second member of the working section of the seal is round cylinder or is bounded with half round cylinder and two planes. EFFECT: improved design. 3 dwg
