FIELD: sports equipment, may be used for moving across bogged-up area and snow covering. SUBSTANCE: roller-type skies have drums fixed on platform and embraced with endless tape, boot fastening units, each provided with mechanical motion device with pedal, ratchet, flexible coupling, additional pulleys, springs and driving unit. Pedal is pivotally mounted on platform and spring-biased. One end of flexible coupling is fixed on platform and other end is kinematically connected with drive mechanism through additional pulleys. Ratchet is mounted on drive mechanism. Respective drums are periodically rotated by drive mechanism which is kinematically connected with drums. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 dwg
