FIELD: burning solid organic fuels. SUBSTANCE: low-emission furnace includes combustion chamber 1 with burner 2 for supply of fuel air mixture located on wall of combustion chamber and inclined downward. Slopes 3 of walls of combustion chamber 1 form dry-bottom ash hopper having prismatic form with slotted hole 4. Undergrate blast device 5 located under hole 4 over entire width is used for forming vortex zone in lower portion of combustion chamber 1. Channel 6 located under burner 2 or at one height with it is used for supply of potassium-containing sorbent, for example lime or potassium carbonate mixed with fuel. Mass fraction of sorbent ranges from 10 to 100 percent; amount of sorbent shall ensure maximum binding of sulfur and efficient consumption of sorbent. Longitudinal axis of channel 6 is inclined downward. It is good practice to arranged sorbent supply channel 6 in such position that angle $$$ inclination of its longitudinal axis is no less than angle $$$ of inclination of slopes 3 of walls of combustion chamber 1 forming dry-bottom ash hopper and no more than angle $$$ of inclination of longitudinal axis of burner 2. Sorbent supply channel may be located in outlet nozzle of undergrate blast device. At any position of sorbent supply channel its longitudinal axis intersects vortex zone.
