FIELD: reception and transmission of ultrasonic waves. SUBSTANCE: antenna is made of flexible plate rigidly fixed on two opposite ends to piezoid surface; width of fixed edges depends on length of flexural wave in piezoid; antenna width in central part depends on length of flexural wave in antenna and length of ultrasonic wave in air, and length of antenna depends on its thickness, speed of longitudinal wave propagation in it, excitation frequency, and type of excitation of its flexural waves; mounts are made in the form of rods and secured on piezoid noidal oscillation line; piezoid is installed so that its installation depth in case depends on maximum height of antenna above piezoid surface, and distance between inner surface of piezoid and case depends on ultrasonic wave length in air.
