FIELD: spraying media such as polishing paste. SUBSTANCE: high-pressure metering gun has rose-shaped housing 504 and first bush 506 which detachably embraces head 522 of valve 518 forming unified unit. Gun is provided with hollow cylinder 514 which is movably mounted relative to first bush 506. One end of cylinder forms seat for valve 542. Gun is provided with second bush 544 mounted for motion to overcome force of spring member 556. This bush forms another unified unit with cylinder 514. Body of valve 518 is made integral with distant members 526 and 528 located at ends and supported by inner surface of first bush 506. When it is necessary to replace wearing parts, such as body of swivel valve 518 and seats of valve 542 and hollow cylinder 514, slacken first union nut 552 to remove second union nut 558, then remove bush 544 and first bush 506. According to second version, gun has nozzle 202 secured in union nut 201 for rotation and axial displacement overcoming force of spring member 211. Seat 222 of valve is fitted in valve unit made in form of disk 203 provided with holes; disk 203 adjoins nozzle flatably. Metering gun is provided with additional union nut 204 which is connected with rose-shaped housing 209 for securing main union nut 201. Passage area of its opening has lesser clear diameter as compared with perforated disk 203. Nozzle 202 secured by first union nut 201 with the aid of screwdriver and inserted in slot 221 provided in nut 201 may be shifted inside. Perforated disk 203 adjoining nozzle 202 and gate of valve 205 move overcoming force of compression spring 211. Seal on inner surface of union nut 201 is removed and air entrapped in valve unit may escape past fairing of nozzle. According to third version, metering gun is provided with guide hollow cylinder 48 embracing valve body 30, 102; hollow cylinder 48 is connected with cylinder 40. Valve body 30, 102 is mounted for motion relative to guide hollow cylinder 48. Valve member 53 is located between nozzle 58, 111 and end of guide hollow cylinder 48. Formed between end of hollow cylinder 40 and side of member 18 holding valve body 30 is second working chamber 45 which is brought in communication with compressed air source to ensure relative mobility of valve body 30, 102 and valve member 53 with exhaust passages 59. Valve body 30 is made in form of hollow needle provided with radial exhaust passage on section projecting into first working chamber 51; fitted at end of needle is valve head 55 located in first working chamber 51. Medium to be sprayed is fed under pressure to chamber 20 wherefrom it enters working chamber 51 through passage 32. Medium being sprayed is continuously fed to nozzle 58 through hole in valve 30; medium escaping from nozzle 58 enters zone of action of compressed air discharged from exhaust passages 59. Thus, medium forms mixture with air which may be applied in form on mist on required object. For spraying the medium under high pressure without compressed air, second working chamber is connected with atmospheric pressure. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 24 cl, 9 dwg
