FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: when rotor 2 is out of alignment with respect to bushing 3, disk 13 is out of alignment. The misalignment of the disk results in a nonuniform distribution of spaces over periphery between the disk and end faces of throttles 11. With decreasing the space the flow rate through the throttle drops. This results in rising the pressure and restoring force exerted on the disk in this zone. The rise of the pressure results in axial compression of porous flexible member 10 with throttle 11. The flow rate through the throttle drops and the pressure in chamber 7 and carrying space 6 rises. Journal 1 of the rotor begins to subject to an additional restoring force occurred. The increase in the space in the diametrically arranged throttle leads to the reverse effect. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 dwg
