FIELD: fiber-optic communication lines. SUBSTANCE: plug-and-socket connection of fiber-optic light guides for introduction of laser radiation into output fiber light guide from input fiber light guide has metal case made in form of a sphere provided with hole. Tips with fiber light guides are mounted in the hole. Edges of light guides are mounted in space relation of 5-30 mcm. Diameter of core of output light guide is at least one third longer, than diameter of core of input fiber light guide. Numerical aperture of output light guide is larger than numerical aperture of input fiber light guide. Each tip has a hole made in form of centering cone at one edge. Sphere is mounted for contact of its external surface with surfaces of centering cones of the tips, which are mounted along straight line. EFFECT: improved reliability of operation. 9 cl, 1 dwg
