FIELD: optoelectronics; photovoltaics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optoelectronics and photovoltaics and can be used to create fiber-optic systems for transmitting energy along a laser beam. Disclosed optical fiber photoelectric converter of laser radiation includes optically connected in series laser, single-mode optical fiber and multimode optical fiber, focon and photocell. Single-mode and multi-mode optical fibers are optically connected so that optical axes of optical fibers are located between each other at an angle a. Multimode optical fiber is optically connected to the focon, the diameter of the input small end of the focon is set equal to the core diameter D of the multimode optical fiber, and the radius of the output large end of the focon is set equal to the radius of the photosensitive surface of the photocell, divided into electrically serially switched sectors.
EFFECT: technical result is increase in output power of photoelectric converter, increase in output voltage to 3–4 V while maintaining high efficiency of phototransformation – more than 40 % and at power of laser radiation of up to 100 W and more.
