FIELD: inorganic chemistry, pigments. SUBSTANCE: leucoxene concentrate is melted in electric furnace with calcium-containing addition and coke fines. Ratio addition : leucoxene concentrate is (0.2 CaO + 0.7 TiO2) to (0.4 CaO + 20 TiO2) kg per 1 kg concentrate where CaO and TiO2 - mass parts of calcium oxide and titanium oxide in calcium-containing addition. Perovskite concentrate or lime were used as addition. After melting slag is ground, decomposed with sulfuric acid and leached with water. Method is used for titanium dioxide pigment production. EFFECT: improved method of processing. 3 cl, 1 tbl
