FIELD: pipe line engineering. SUBSTANCE: pipe is made up as two semi-shell. One of the semi-shells is provided with a groove. The other semi-shell is provided with a spring projection. The groove has a chamber for receiving sealing member, e.g. sealing cord. The cord abuts against the sliding surface of the spring projection from the side and thus pressure-tights the space. The direction of motion of the sliding surface of the spring projection is always perpendicular to the direction of forces exerted by deformation of the sealing member.
