FIELD: biotechnology, biochemistry. SUBSTANCE: method involves the simultaneous preparing the complex of inhibitors of the following leukocyte proteinases: α₂-macroglobulin, α₁-antichymotrypsin and α₁-proteinase inhibitor of antitrypsin. Method involves treatment of donor blood serum or plasma with chloroform, precipitation of supernatant with an aqueous solution of polyethylene glycol (PEG-6000), ion-exchange and metal-chelate chromatography followed by dialysis and sterilizing filtration. Method can be used in process of biosynthesis and purification of interferon, for inhibition of proteolytic activity at production of medicinal protein preparations.
