FIELD: shipbuilding. SUBSTANCE: water craft propeller has pair of rotors located across flow and drives for rotating them. Mounted in front of rotors over their entire length symmetrically relative to longitudinal plane of propeller are wedge-shaped cylindrical bodies with their pointed ends directed towards flow. Surface of wedge- shaped bodies directed towards rotors is equidistant relative to surfaces of both rotors. Sides of wedge-shaped bodies are made in the form of round plates from their fins to plane passing through axis of rotation of rotors. Distance between surface of rotor and this plate is equal to half distance between rotors. Each rotor is provided with interceptor over rotor generatrix; ends of interceptor are secured to propeller body. Circular plates may be rotatable relative to fins of cylindrical body; special drives shall be provided in this case. EFFECT: reduction of hydrodynamic resistance of propeller. 2 dwg
