FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: procedure of drying and roasting bricks includes setting and combined drying and roasting followed by putting out products. In this procedure, bricks are placed on trays and products are put out together with trays. The latter are made of refractory concrete based on binders of Portland cement or slag Portland cement with finely ground chamotte additive and chamotte filler or alumina cement with soluble glass-based chamotte filler. Heat-resistant trays may as well be made of low-grade steel protected with another metal (e.g., cast iron) covering whose thickness varies from 0.2 to at least 5 mm. In addition, trays may be fabricated of steel wastes protected with 0.5-30 mm or thicker soluble glass-based clay coverings. EFFECT: improved procedure. 4 cl, 3 dwg
