FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: method includes molding preforms in the form of briquets with holes in stretching surface, loading them on bottom of furnace, and rapidly firing them to expansion. Expanded material is rolled or molded to give building parts in the form of slabs, blocks, shells, etc., which are cooled avoiding appearance of destroying thermal stresses. According to invention, heating to temperature 450-600 C is carried out with rate 100-120 C/min and subsequent heating to 1100-1250 C with rate 150-200 C/min; molded or rolled preforms in pyroplastic state are rapidly cooled to 500-700 C and then with rate 60-120 C/min.
