FIELD: medicine, immunology. SUBSTANCE: before smears preparing culture of bacterium Serratia marcescens is prepared for its use as phagocytosis object. Bacterial suspension is opsonized with serum from healthy persons, opsonized and nonopsonized bacterial cultures were incubated with leukocyte concentrate from patients and total cytochemical activity of myeloperoxidase and cationic proteins were determined before and after incubation. Index of neutrophils stimulation is calculated and decrease of antibacterial organism resistance is diagnosed at index 0.5 and lower. EFFECT: increased precision of determination.
