FIELD: chemical and other industries. SUBSTANCE: claimed process for dehydration of zeolites, e.g. CaA, comprises warming and blowing adsorbent layer with inert gas at 450-600 C with inert gas having moisture content of 0.002-0.010 g/cubic till dew point on inert gas reaches 50-55 C behind the layer. During the preliminary warming up period, zeolites are maintained at 200-220 C for 1.5-2 hours. The claimed invention makes it possible to dry ammonia to residual moisture content of not greater than $$$ wt%. EFFECT: more efficient dehydration process.
