FIELD: manufacture of concentrated nitrogen oxides from ammonia and oxygen and manufacture of organic products in which said gases are used as feedstock. SUBSTANCE: claimed method comprises catalytically oxidizing ammonia with oxygen in the presence of steam followed by intermediate and final cooling of reaction gas to 25-40 C to form acid condensate, heating said condensate to 80- 120 C and purging nitrogen oxides therefrom. The present invention makes it possible to save energy resources, namely fresh steam and cooling water. The claimed method is especially effective in using low-concentrated oxygen and carrying out the process at elevated pressure. EFFECT: more efficient preparation method. 2 cl, 2 dwg
