FIELD: conveyor engineering; intermediate drives of belt conveyors with increased size of chute of carrying belt. SUBSTANCE: intermediate drive has drive members installed on frame for engagement with conveyor belt idle side. Drive members are kinematically coupled with drive. Pressure rollers with pneumatic rims are installed on frame for engagement with opposite side of belt. Drive members are made in form of endless belts passing over drive and tension drums along longitudinal axis of conveyor belt. Pressure rollers are installed to provide combined deflection of drive and conveyor belts in middle of span between drums in direction from longitudinal axis of conveyor belt. Pressure rollers can be installed in horizontal plane at angle to longitudinal surface of conveyor belt to form L-shaped section in vertical plane. Drive drums can be kinematically coupled with drive by means of differential. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 4 cl, 3 dwg
