SET FOR CLEANING EXHAUST GAS FROM SOOT Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: sanitary cleaning of industrial exhaust gases of dust and toxic admixtures with recuperation of absorbent for reusing it and recovery of absorbed substances. SUBSTANCE: set has smoke stack, reflector, hood, inclined sump, horizontal torus with spraying injectors, circulating absorbent receivers, centrifugal pumps for feeding the absorbent to injectors. Set is provided with two absorbent circulating systems one of which uses high-boiling organic solvent for absorbing soot; it is connected with injectors of upper torus; second system uses circulating water as absorbent which is fed to injectors of lower torus. Set is also provided with settler for separation of water from solvent and screw feeder for discharge of soot, units for distillation of solvent from soot and units for drying soot.
