FIELD: cleaning gases. SUBSTANCE: soot is absorbed with a high- boiling organic absorber providing regeneration of the absorber and utilizing soot. Gas is purified in two stages. In the first stage, the gas is treated with circulating high-boiling organic absorber, e.g. straw oil, having boiling temperature up to 270°. In the second stage, the gas emissions are treated with a circulating water. The pulp of soot and organic absorber obtained in the first stage is separated by filtering. The absorber is extracted by rectification with water vapor. The soot is dried. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 cl, 1 dwg
