FIELD: equipment for cleaning of water basins and tanks from oil. SUBSTANCE: plant may be used for withdrawal of oil residues from bottom of water basins and tanks on oil refineries and oil tanks farms. The plant includes catching device with flexible hose for withdrawal of oil residues with water, collector of oil residues connected with suction pump and flexible hose, and mechanism for motion of catching device. Plant has liquid-jet ejector pump. Catching device is made in the form of disc with central through hole with metal plates fastened perpendicular to hole lower surface. Metal plates are bent in the form of Archimedean spiral and extending from disc central hole to its edges. Attached to lower edges of plates along their entire length are flexible bands of polymer material touching the tank bottom with their lower edges. Disc has branch pipe connected to it with its lower end by means of ball joint installed in disc central hole. Upper end of branch pipe is connected with suction tube of liquid-jet ejector pump. Pressure tube connected with pump nozzle by flexible hose with pressure pipeline of suction pump. Pressure tube of liquid-jet ejector pump is made in the form of diffuser and connected by means of flexible hose with collector of oil residues. Mechanism for motion of catching device has actuating member in the form of rod rigidly connected with branch pipe connected with the aid of ball joint to disc of catching device.
