FIELD: care of footwear and of leather articles. SUBSTANCE: proposed cream contains (mass %): high-melting paraffin hydrocarbons 2.5-12, low-melting paraffin hydrocarbons 2-20, synthetic fatty acids of C17-C25 fraction or vat residue thereof 2-6, materials having basic features 0.3-4, alkaline soaps of synthetic C10-C15 acids or of naphthene acids or of fatty acids of soap stocks of vegetable oils 0.2-2.7, unsaturated polymer oxidized acids 0.7-2, stiffener 0.2-8.5, antifreeze 2-3, latex of synthetic rubber 0.2-6, dye 0.1-2.5, odorant 0.1-0.3 and water. Paraffin, unsaturated oxidized acids are dispersed in hot water at 65-85 C. The process is carried out in the presence of alkaline soaps of synthetic fatty acids of C17-C25 fraction or vat residue thereof, it is followed by cooling thus prepared emulsion and by mixing it with other components.
