FIELD: mechanical engineering; piston-type internal combustion engines, pumps and compressors. SUBSTANCE: machine has opposite cylinders, pistons located in cylinders and connected with two crankshafts by means of two connecting rods. Pistons are interconnected by means of rod. Length of connecting rod and piston stroke are determined from the following expressions: 1 = 2R +a; , where 1 is length of connecting rod, mm; R is radius of crank circle of crankshaft, mm; a is distance between crank circle and axis of connecting rod, mm; S is piston stroke, mm. Machine is provided with limiter of degree of freedom of connecting rods equipped with control bushes fitted on axle coupling the ends of connecting rods with rod. Mounted in rod are spring-loaded retainers engageable with control bushes and connecting rod ends. Crankshafts are made in form of helix and are provided with bushes.
