FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering, in particular to equipment for compressing air or gases. Reciprocating piston compressor includes a frame in which a crank-and-rod mechanism is arranged, consisting of a crankshaft configured to be coupled to an electric motor, main bearings mounted thereon and a connecting rod. Upper head of the connecting rod is fixed in the cross-head arranged in a guide. Crank head is attached to the crank pin of the crankshaft. Compressor is designed to convert the rotational motion of the crankshaft into reciprocating motion of the cross-head in the guide and the rod coupled thereto having a piston in a cylinder connected to the cross-head guide. Cross-head guide is directed horizontally and perpendicular to the axis of the frame. Said guide is removable and comprises side windows closed with covers. Flanges are installed at the ends, through which the guide is attached to the frame by one end, having a round-shaped flange. Piston stroke is 80 mm at 1000÷2100 rpm for a nominal piston force of 7 and 9 tons and 100 or 120 mm at 1000÷1500 rpm for a nominal piston force of 15 and 25 tons.
EFFECT: improved performance, reduced weight and dimensions, high efficiency, easy installation.
