SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the engine building. Two-stroke piston internal combustion engine includes a cylinder block equipped with purging (12) and outlet (11) openings. Pistons (7, 8) move in said cylinders in opposite directions, each of which controls blowing and discharge respectively. Mechanism with two degrees of freedom for conversion of back-and-forth movement of pistons (7, 8) into rotary motion of crankshaft by means of one common connecting rod (2) and articulated via rod (5, 6) with each of pistons (7, 8) of two rockers (3, 4), swinging on two-movable hinges (9, 10). Centers of rotation of two-movable hinges (9, 10) have the possibility of controlled displacement to change degree of compression and degree of expansion.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of fuel efficiency and improvement of weight and size parameters.
