FIELD: scintillation equipment. SUBSTANCE: proposed process may be used for design of detectors of ionizing radiation built on base of scintillation crystals and diffuse light-reflecting shells of powder materials, for development of technologies of their assembly and for design of equipment and attachments intended for assembly of such detectors. Process of assembly of scintillation detector includes manufacture of optical coupling between crystal and glass of output window, fixing of container in gear for assembly of detector, formation of light-reflecting shell from powder, installation of rings centering crystal inside container, mounting of other parts of container made separately and sealing of container. All centering rings are mounted inside container before start of operation of formation of light-reflecting shell. Then container is set in rotation about its own symmetry axis, powder is distributed over entire internal surface of container between centering rings, crystal is set in rotation with speed equal to rotational speed of container. Crystal is pressed into container and fixed inside it. Gear for assembly of detector incorporates unit of container fixing in vertical position, vertical axial drive of tool. rotational drive of tool with vertical rotation axis, tool of formation of light-reflex shell, unit of uniaxial load. Unit of container fixing in vertical position is fitted with rotational drive. Tool is mounted for replacement and is manufactured in the form of vertical screw with coiling radius varying in height and shaft with blind passage inside and through holes in walls.
