FIELD: medicine, nephrology. SUBSTANCE: method involves estimation of blood and urine biochemical parameters reflecting osmos-regulating function of kidney: concentration of osmotically active substances (UOSm, POSm, /кг H2O), creatinine concentration (UСr, PCr, mM), urea (UUr, PUr, mM). sodium (UNa+, PNa+, mM), potassium (UK+, PK+, mM). Based on this data the following indices were calculated: concentration index (U/P), osmotic clearance (COCm, ml/min), clearances of creatinine (CCr, ml/min), urea (CUr, ml/min), sodium (CNa+, ml/min), potassium (CK+, ml/min), excreted and reabsorbed fractions of osmotically active substances (EF, RF %), clearance of osmotically free water (, ml/min). Results were evaluated and compared with the initial values determined under usual conditions. EFFECT: detection of initial stages of chronic renal failure in patients with kidney pathology, improved method of diagnosis.
