FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: machine has a set of paired profiles for supporting each pair of stockings to be connected, device for positioning and moving stockings on associated guides and device for longitudinal cutting of stocking bands. Profiles are supported separately by associated plates with profiled mandrel. It allows profiles to be moved separately at different speeds. Stocking sewing station has automatic sewing machine for making one seam without disturbing continuity and for sewing aligned edges of bands. Machine has drive for moving each plate with speed different from that of other plates.
