FIELD: working of stocking articles. SUBSTANCE: method involves actuating cylinder to urge shifting of gripping device with clamping flexible jaws in the direction of stocking carrier form and away of it. In the process of movement, jaws are brought apart by shafts contacting with cam. At the end of motion, jaws are closed to clamp stocking at its side. During return stroke of cylinder the stocking is released. Thus pulling force is applied to stocking to stretch knitted weaves and eliminate creases.
