FIELD: tricot-wear. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has device positioned below guard rails of stitching sewing machine to provide tightening of leg portions of article, that are hanging downward from guard rails. Device has discharge pipe connected with suction pipe, unit for removal of flexible edge of bodice from form-stitching sewing machine by clip, unit for vertical tightening of bodice portion of article, that is removed from forms by two hooks, which may be spread apart in vertical plane. Units are supported by frame reciprocating in horizontal direction in synchronism and axially with respect to mentioned devices. Device for removal of article bodice portion from hooks drawing it through tubes of stocking machine has two parallel spaced hooks reciprocating in horizontal direction to provide turning of article's inside out. Hooks are positioned at opposite side relative to tubes. Apparatus is further provided with units for retaining tightened leg portions of article in open position and for moving foot toe portion to inlet ends of tubes of stocking machine. Mentioned units have W-shaped plate supported by vertical handle attached to frame, which is sliding on guide with axis "a" inclined upward.
