FIELD: civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: metal tank of spiral-winding type includes vertical cylindrical shell of sheets placed over spiral and interconnected over the height through outer rings and ribs, supports and connecting parts of the dome and shell. The supports are discrete in the form of T-shaped member with reciprocally perpendicular wall and shelf. T shelf is provided with two end ledges on its lower plane and middle ledge on upper plane. A slot of the width equal to the thickness of lower shell sheet is formed by T wall and the ledge. Connecting parts are discrete in the form of a T member with a shelf placed at an angle about the wall. This angle corresponds to dome rib slope. Walls of support T members are secured to inner side of the shell. Lower end of the shell is installed in the slot at upper plane of the shelf. Anti-friction insertion piece is installed between end ledges. Thickness of the insertion pieces exceeds the height of the end ledges. Wall of connecting T members are attached to outer side of the shell and T shelf rests on upper face. EFFECT: low labour consumption. 6 dwg
