SUBSTANCE: cylinder liner has several elongated cooling channels 8,8′ with blind end arranged over circumference and communicating with cooling water supply chamber 6,6′ and cooling water outlet chamber 7,7′.. Guide member is installed inside each channel to direct cooling water flow to blind end and back. In portion of channel length, guide member is installed to form, together with channel surfaces, some spaces, one of which, arranged at side of combustion chamber, has flow interrupter.
