FIELD: defence against aggressors, electric-shock therapy. SUBSTANCE: device has case in the form of hollow cylinder made of glass-reinforced plastic and accommodating mounting frame. Separating ring 4 mounted between working part 1 of case 1 and its handle 3 carries start button 5 with interlocking mechanism 6. Central working electrode mounted in center of working end of case 1 is connected to low-potential lead of high-voltage pulse supply; side electrodes 8 are arranged over its circumference, equally spaced apart, and connected to high-potential lead of high-voltage pulse supply. Working electrodes 7,8 are pointed pins with drilling on cylindrical surface; they are connected to leads of high-voltage pulse supply. At working end of case 1, on its side surface, there is safety electrode 9 in the form of carbon plastic ring. End of case 1 on side of handle 3 may be provided with cover 10 that closes input pin contacts of built-in charging device. EFFECT: improved design. 6 cl, 3 dwg
