FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: harrow has a frame. A flexible chain member is attached to the frame for rotation by means of friction couplings. Ripper points are secured on the member's links in mutually perpendicular planes. The frame is provided with telescopic beams consisting of stationary and movable beams. The telescopic beams are pin-mounted for rotation on the frame channel. Brackets secured in the bottom part at an acute angle are directed opposite of the direction of movement of the harrow. In bushings at the lower back of the brackets there are axles joining a shackle and the flexible member. A stop is provided at the lower part of the brackets. As the beams touch the soil surface, they can turn upward to divert the flexible member, thereby ruling out overload and breakdown. As the harrow is converted in the traveling position, the shackles rest against the stops and the flexible member is retracted so that it is outside the zone of the working tools. EFFECT: higher surface tillage quality. 3 dwg
