APPARATUS FOR SHEET METAL EDGES BEADING Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: production of sheet metal edges beading apparatuses. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for sheet metal edges beading body, mounted on it anvil and casing and also hammer with patterned shape-forming surface mounted with capability of reciprocation. Supporting surfaces of anvil are engaged with nondeformed and deformed parts of sheet. Between casing and anvil there is clearance for sheet passing. Casing is made of in series located along its length parts of sheet orientation, bending and gauging. Sheet bending part has opening for hammer passing. Sheet orientation part has stopping surface located perpendicularly to anvil surface. Sheet gauging part has supporting surfaces located in parallel to supporting surfaces of anvil. The combination apparatus parameters allows to produce edges of uniform width along whole length of sheet. EFFECT: apparatus allows to produce edges of uniform width along whole length of sheet. 12 cl, 6 dwg
