FIELD: machines for producing flat surfaces.

SUBSTANCE: plane has housing provided with two vertical grooves for receiving bearing units of cutting head and cutting head rotating in the bearing units and made of at least two milling cutters mounted on the driving shaft inside the housing. The cutting edges of the milling cutters are shifted at an angle, and the cutting head is mounted for movement with respect to the housing in the vertical plane and locking in the intermediate position. The bearing units are provided with vertical grooves for receiving the fastening members of the stop device for locking the bearing units with respect to the housing.

EFFECT: improved design.
